Dr. Tasleem Kassam, B.Sc, N.D - Naturopathic Doctor/Clinic Director/Bowen Therapist
Dr. Tas is a caring and compassionate licensed Naturopathic Doctor who thoroughly enjoys working with people of all ages on their path to optimal health. She earned her Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Cell Biotechnology from the University of Alberta in 1992. After two years of working in medical research, she travelled to East Africa where she was first exposed to the natural healing arts. Her time there inspired her to continue her education in naturopathic medicine. She then completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario in 1999. While at CCNM, she served a three year term as Student Representative on CCNM’s Board of Governors. She has been in private practice since 1999.
Dr. Tas is dedicated to helping others improve their health, and thereby their quality of life, through naturopathic medicine, especially homeopathy. Her aim in treating patients is to ensure that everyone is treated with integrity and compassion while being supported in improving their state of health and well-being. She continues to travel and further her studies in classical homeopathy and is continually pursuing further professional development. She also enjoys working with children and families. She has a special interest in treating immune and hormonal disorders, especially conditions that are autoimmune in nature or difficult to treat.
